How to hide labels in Windows 10 Start menu (tiles)?
As an IT administrator, you may occasionally need to hide labels from Windows 10 Start Menu Tiles. This can be done in several ways, depending on what you're trying to accomplish.
For example, if you want to remove labels from all tiles on the Start Menu, you can do this by going to the Settings app. In the Personalization section, select “Start”, and then select “Show app labels” and toggle it off. This will remove the labels from all tiles on the Start Menu.
If you want to hide labels from specific tiles, you can do this by right-clicking on the tile and selecting “More”. Then select “Name”, and toggle the “Show name on the tile” option off. This will remove the label from the specific tile.
If you want to apply the change to multiple tiles at once, you can do this by right-clicking on the Start Menu, selecting “All Apps”, and then selecting “Name”. Here, you can toggle the “Show name on the tile” option off for all tiles.
If you want to hide labels from tiles on the Start Menu but keep them on the taskbar, you can do this by going to the Settings app and selecting “Taskbar”. Then select “Show app labels on the taskbar” and toggle it off. This will hide the labels from tiles on the Start Menu but still keep them on the taskbar.
Finally, you can also hide labels from the Start Menu tiles by using a third-party app. Some third-party apps allow you to customize the Start Menu and hide labels from the tiles. You can find such apps in the Microsoft Store.
As an IT administrator, you may need to hide labels from Windows 10 Start Menu tiles in order to make the Start Menu look more organized and easier to navigate. There are several ways to do this, depending on what you're trying to accomplish. By using the Settings app, the right-click menu, or a third-party app, you can easily hide labels from tiles on the Start Menu.
