How to close any application even if task manager unable to close?

Task Manager is an important tool for IT administrators, as it allows them to view and manage the running processes on a system. It can also be used to terminate applications and processes, but unfortunately, it is not always successful in closing an application. At times, users may find that some applications remain open even after Task Manager has terminated them. This can be a frustrating issue, as it prevents users from using the application or performing certain tasks.

In such cases, IT administrators can use alternative methods to force the application to close. One way is to use a third-party application such as Process Manager, which can be used to terminate applications that are not responding. Process Manager can also be used to forcefully terminate processes that cannot be terminated through Task Manager.

Another way to close an application is to use the Windows command prompt. This can be done by typing in the command “taskkill” followed by the name of the application. This command will attempt to terminate the application, and if it is successful, the application will be closed.

In some cases, it may be necessary to use a more extreme solution. This can be done by using the Windows registry editor to delete the application’s registry key. This should be done with caution, as any mistake can cause serious problems. If the application is not responding and cannot be closed using the methods mentioned above, then the registry key can be deleted and the application will be removed from the system.

Finally, IT administrators can also use the Windows Resource Monitor tool to identify and terminate processes that are not responding. This tool can be used to identify processes that are not responding and terminate them by right-clicking on them and selecting the “End Process” option.

These are some of the methods that can be used to close any application, even when Task Manager is unable to do so. It is important to note that the methods mentioned above should be used with caution and only when necessary, as any mistake can cause serious problems. If any of the methods mentioned above do not work, then it is best to contact the application’s support team for further assistance.
