How to change Google chrome windows order in the Windows task panel
As an IT administrator, it’s important to be able to organize and manage the windows that are open on your computers. This includes being able to change the order of the windows in the Windows task panel. Fortunately, if you use Google Chrome, it’s relatively easy to do.
The Windows task panel, also known as the taskbar, is the area at the bottom of the Windows desktop that displays the currently running programs and applications. It’s a great way to quickly switch between programs and applications without having to close and reopen them.
When you have multiple windows open in Google Chrome, they will appear in the task panel in the order that they were opened. This can become confusing, especially if you’re trying to work on multiple projects at the same time. Fortunately, it’s easy to change the order of the windows in the task panel.
The first step is to open the Windows task manager. This can be done by pressing the Ctrl+Alt+Delete combination on your keyboard. Once the task manager is open, click the “Processes” tab. This will show a list of all the programs and applications currently running on your computer.
Scroll down until you find the process for Google Chrome. Right-click on it and select “Go to details”. This will open a list of all the Google Chrome windows that are currently open. You can now select the window you want to move to the top of the task panel and right-click on it. Select “Set priority” and choose “High”. This will make that window appear at the top of the task panel.
It’s also possible to move a window to the bottom of the task panel. To do this, right-click on the window and select “Set priority” and choose “Low”. This will make that window appear at the bottom of the task panel.
You can also use the Windows task manager to close any Google Chrome windows that you no longer need. Simply right-click on the window and select “End task”. This will close the window and remove it from the task panel.
Using the Windows task manager to change the order of the windows in the task panel is a great way to keep your desktop organized. It’s also a great way to quickly switch between projects without having to close and reopen them. With a few simple steps, you can easily organize and manage the windows in your task panel.
