Go back to previous links while using tab

As an IT administrator, it can be helpful to be able to quickly navigate back to previous links while using a tab. Fortunately, there are a few simple steps you can take to make this process easier.

The first step is to open a new tab. This can be done by either clicking the “+” icon in the top right corner of the browser window, or by pressing the keyboard shortcut “Ctrl + T”. Once the new tab has been opened, you can then use the “Ctrl + Tab” keyboard shortcut to switch between open tabs. This is especially useful if you have multiple tabs open and need to quickly switch between them.

Once you’ve switched to the tab you want to go back to, you can use the “Back” button in the navigation bar of the browser window. This will take you back to the page you were previously viewing. Alternatively, you can also press the “Ctrl + Shift + Tab” keyboard shortcut to go back to the previous page.

It’s also possible to open a new tab when you’re already on a specific page. To do this, you can right-click on the page itself and select “Open Link in New Tab”. This will open the link in a new tab without closing the current tab. You can then use the “Ctrl + Tab” keyboard shortcut to switch between open tabs.

Finally, if you want to open a link in a new tab and also keep the current tab open, you can use the “Ctrl + Enter” keyboard shortcut. This will open the link in a new tab and keep the current page open.

Navigating back to previous links while using a tab can be a useful skill for any IT administrator. By following the steps above, you should be able to easily switch between tabs and quickly access pages that you’ve already visited.
