Customise date-time format in Windows



The ability to customize date and time formatting in Windows is an important and necessary skill for any IT administrator. It is essential for ensuring that all users in the network are viewing the same information in the same format.

To customize the date and time format in Windows, the administrator must first open the Control Panel. From there, the administrator should select \Clock, Language, and Region\ and then \Change date, time, or number formats.\ On the next page, the administrator should select the \Additional settings\ button.

In the \Additional settings\ window, the administrator can customize the date and time format. The administrator can select the \Long Time\ and \Short Time\ options to customize the format of the time that is displayed on the computer. The administrator can also select the \Long Date\ and \Short Date\ options to customize the format of the date that is displayed on the computer.

Once the administrator has finished customizing the date and time format, they should click the \OK\ button to save the changes. The administrator should also remember to select the \Apply\ button at the bottom of the \Clock, Language, and Region\ window to apply the changes to the computer.
